The Zelda Fitz

Crack open a bottle of Prosecco and instantly get that Friday feeling with The Zelda Fitz!

Named after Zelda Fitzgerald, an artist, writer, and personality who helped to establish the Roaring Twenties image of liberated womanhood embodied by the flapper. Alongside her husband, novelist F. Scott Fitzgerald, they became icons of the freedoms and excesses of the 1920s and symbols of the emerging cultural fascination with youth, conspicuous consumption, and leisure.

Fragrant and fruity, we used Mermaid gin from our neighbours over on The Isle of Wight to create this match made in heaven. ⁣With tastes of strawberries, lemon and samphire, for us, this gin perfectly captures the islands spirit.⁣⁣

⁣⁣We also added St-Germain Elderflower Liqueur for an extra punch, but you could quite easily replace this with Elderflower cordial should you so desire.⁣⁣

⁣⁣🍋Fill a shaker with ice and add the Gin and Elderflower Liqueur.⁣⁣

⁣⁣🍋Shake well to combine.⁣⁣

⁣⁣🍋Strain the contents of the shaker into a glass and top with Prosecco.⁣⁣

⁣⁣🍋Squeeze a lemon wedge in each drink⁣⁣

⁣⁣🍋Garnish with an additional lemon wedge and some Elderflower blossoms ⁣⁣

⁣⁣🍋Serve immediately and enjoy!⁣⁣
